Fuel Surcharge updated terms and conditions for 2026

Road transport is going through a period of strong operational pressure. The continuous escalation of diesel prices has severely worsened its weight in our cost structure. This 40% threshold faithfully reflects the real weight of fuel in the operation and is fully aligned with the measure already adopted in Spain by a large part of the industry and enshrined in law in response to the energy crisis, making it entirely logical and fair to transpose this reality to our own activity. Accordingly, with all other service compnents remaining unchanged, this update to the fuel weight to 40% will take effect from September 21, 2026. 

The international situation has led us to a stage where we must immediately adopt measures that allow us to continue working competitively in the Transport market.
Therefore, with immediate effect on all Negotiated Rates and, in the future, on all Spot quotes, a fuel charge will be applied. We hope we can rely on your understanding and that you can pass the same on to your customers
and, at the end of the supply chain, to ourselves as consumers. This measure is essential for TDV Group and will apply to all its customers/partners.

We have as reference the negotiation of prices at the beginning of the year, according to data from the General Direction of Energy and Geology (DGEG), collected on January 01, 2022. The average price of simple diesel was 1,494 euros/liter. This being the base price of our table according to updates in the beginning of 2022.

The fuel surcharge to be applied was based on the cost of fuel currently on the international market, bearing in mind it has a weight of 40% of the cost of transport and considering fluctuation intervals of 5%.
TDV will apply the fuel surcharge below to all transports.
